Hazel Grace Lancaster is an intelligent and sarcastic Indianapolis teenager coping with terminal thyroid cancer that has metastasized to her lungs. Believing her to be depressed, Hazel's mother urges her to attend a cancer patients' support group at a local church to make friends. During a support meeting, Hazel meets Augustus Waters, a teen who had suffered from osteosarcoma that caused him to lose his leg. After the meeting Augustus invites Hazel to his house, where they bond over their similar interests and views on cancer. Before she leaves, they agree to read each other's favorite novels. Hazel recommends to Augustus An Imperial Affliction, a novel about a cancer-stricken girl named Anna that parallels Hazel's own experience. After Augustus finishes reading her book, he is frustrated upon learning that the novel ends abruptly without a conclusion. Hazel explains that the novel's mysterious author, Peter van Houten, had retreated to Amsterdam following the novel's publication and has not been heard from since.
Weeks later, Augustus reveals to Hazel that he has tracked down Van Houten's assistant, Lidewij, and, through her, has managed to start e-mail correspondence with Van Houten. Hazel writes to van Houten with questions regarding the novel's ambiguous ending, to which van Houten replies explaining that he can only answer Hazel in person. Hazel proposes the trip to her mother, but is rejected because of financial and medical constraints. Later, Augustus surprises Hazel with tickets to Amsterdam, attained through a charitable foundation similar to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, namely The Genie Foundation.
Days before the trip, Hazel suffers an episode of pleural effusion and is sent to the ICU, prompting her doctors to question the safety of overseas travel. The medical team argues against the trip but eventually complies with Hazel's parents to accommodate her travel. When Hazel and Augustus first arrive in Amsterdam, they go to a restaurant and find out that Van Houten paid for a meal and champagne on their behalf. Augustus then confesses his love for Hazel that night. Hazel and Augustus finally meet van Houten, but are shocked to find that, instead of a prolific genius, he is a mean-spirited drunk. Lidewij confesses to having arranged the meeting on his behalf, angering van Houten, who proceeds to insult Hazel's cancer and refuses to answer any of her questions. The two leave the author in anger and disappointment.
Accompanied by Lidewij, Hazel and Augustus visit the Anne Frank House. Hazel struggles to climb the many stairs and ladders leading up to the attic but by the end of the tour, Augustus and Hazel share a romantic kiss, followed by applause from the other tourists in the attic. They return to the hotel and have sex for the first time. The next day, Augustus confesses that a recent PET scan revealed his cancer to have relapsed. Resolute, the two affirm their love and support for each other. Upon their return to Indianapolis, Augustus' health significantly worsens. He ends up in the ICU for a few days and realizes that he is really down to his final days. Augustus invites Isaac, his blind best friend, and Hazel to his pre-funeral, where they speak his eulogies. Hazel quotes van Houten about "larger and smaller infinities" and confides that she would not trade their short time together for anything in the world. Augustus dies eight days later.
At the funeral, Hazel is astonished to find van Houten in attendance. He explains that he and Augustus maintained correspondence after Amsterdam and that Augustus had demanded he make up for ruining their trip by attending his funeral. He confides in Hazel that his novel is based on his own daughter, Anna, who died from cancer at a young age. In an attempt for forgiveness, van Houten tries to reveal the fate of Anna's mother and gives Hazel a piece of paper. Hazel, still upset with his behavior, crumples up the paper and asks him to leave. Later, while talking with Isaac, Hazel learns that Augustus had asked van Houten for assistance in writing his eulogy. Realizing what van Houten had given her, she retrieves the crumpled paper and reads Augustus' words, which state his acceptance of death and his love for Hazel, a sentiment she returns. The film ends with Hazel lying on her back on her lawn looking up at the stars; she smiles as she remembers Augustus.

Beastly
Beastly is a 2011 romantic fantasy drama film loosely based on Alex Flinn's 2007 novel of the same name. It is a retelling of the fairytale Beauty and the Beast and is set in modern-day New York City. The film was written and directed by Daniel Barnz and stars Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer.
Beastly was expected to be distributed to theaters by CBS Films on July 30, 2010. However, the film's release was delayed until March 18, 2011, in order to avoid a clash with the release of Charlie St. Cloud, which starred Zac Efron, Hudgens's then-boyfriend with whom she had a strong following at the time, but in January 2011, the release was moved forward to March 4, 2011.
Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer), the arrogant and vain son of wealthy and equally arrogant and vain news anchor Rob Kingson (Peter Krause), bullies the witch Kendra Hilferty (Mary-Kate Olsen) who magically transforms handsome Kyle into a bald, tattooed, and scarred shell. If Kyle does not find someone who loves him by the next spring he will remain in this ugly state forever. Kyle is taken to live in a private house with their maid Zola Davies (Lisa Gay Hamilton) and the blind tutor Will (Neil Patrick Harris). Both are a comfort to Kyle when his father begins to neglect him.
As spring draws closer, Kyle finds himself infatuated with Lindy Taylor (Vanessa Hudgens), a girl from whom he had kept his distance at his former school. He sees her father, a drug addict, engaged in an altercation with two drug dealers and shoots one dead while the other vows to kill Lindy. "Hunter" (Kyle) persuades Lindy’s father to allow her to move in with Kyle. Lindy is furious about hiding and doesn't speak to Kyle. But, eventually, Kyle reveals his state, and they begin to warm up to each other. Kyle writes a letter professing his love for Lindy but does not give it to her for fear of rejection. He visits Kendra to plead for more time; she refuses, but agrees to restore Will's vision and grant green cards to Zola's three children in Jamaica if he gets Lindy to fall in love with him.
The criminal who threatened Lindy’s life lands in jail. Lindy’s father overdoses and is in the hospital. Kyle permits Lindy to leave and see her father and drives her to the station. He gives her the letter but regrets doing so as she tells him he’s a good friend. Lindy calls him after reading the letter, but being heartbroken Kyle does not answer the phone. Persuaded by Will and Zola, Kyle goes to meet Lindy one last time before she leaves on a school trip to Machu Picchu. Kyle tells her to go, and as she leaves, Lindy professes her love for "Hunter" (Kyle), saying the words "I Love You" to break Kyle's "Hunter" curse. Kyle’s normal self is restored, and Lindy runs out looking for "Hunter". But Lindy does not recognize him until she calls Hunter's phone, and Kyle's phone starts ringing. When Lindy realizes that Hunter is in fact Kyle the two share a passionate kiss in the side of the street.
Will wakes up one morning and can see again and Zola finds three green cards for her children in the mail from the government. Kendra approaches Rob Kingson's office as a new intern, implying that Kendra will likely do the same thing to Rob as she did to Kyle. Then, in the credits, we see Lindy and Kyle on holiday together in different countries.
A Millionaire's First Love
Kang Jae-kyung (Hyun Bin) is your typical rich kid. He is arrogant, drives sporty cars, attends the big clubs and rides through school corridors on his motorcycle. As his 18th birthday approaches, he is set to inherit his grandfather’s fortune, but first Jae-kyung is required to transfer to a new school in Gangwon Province and graduate. Until then all access to his penthouse, cottage and credit cards are denied. Should he fail to graduate or drops out then he loses everything. If he wishes to give up, he will only receive 0.1% of his over-all inheritance. With this in mind, he heads out to the countryside, to a small town in which daily life is far removed from what he is used to.
Shortly after settling into his new home, he meets 18-year-old Choi Eun-hwan (Lee Yeon-hee), who happened to run into him back in Seoul. They don’t exactly hit it off; he’s far too stubborn and cool for school. Conversely, she sees hope for him and sets out to make him see it for himself. They eventually draw closer, thanks to a set of coincidences and school projects. Jae-kyung learns of Eun-hwan's terminal disease and does what he can to make her happy. He even tells his lawyer that he would give up his inheritance so he could buy an orphanage for her.
One day during the rehearsal of a play at school, Jae-kyung notices that the play is resembles the incident that had happened in his life. He recalls a childhood memory of being at the orphanage at Gangwondo, where he had met Eun-Whan and had made a promise to return in ten days. He finds Eun-Whan and tells her that he did not remember her or his promise because his parents had died in a car accident on that same day and his memories were thus erased. He tells her he loves her and they kiss.
The day of the play comes and Jae-kyung asks his classmate to trade places as a favour; him as the Colonel rather than the maid. He goes to Eun-whan's side and she asks him if he could put on the socks he bought her earlier. While they are dancing, she feels a sudden pain and goes backstage much to Jae-kyung's worry. However, she returns. Eun-whan's mother has also come to see the show.
Later, they celebrate the success of the play. The couple sit on a swing, Eun-whan tells Jae-kyung "Sarang-hae" (Korean: "I love you.") and that she's sleepy. Before falling asleep, she tells Jae-kyung to wake her up after 3 minutes. Soon after, the first snow comes.
On their graduation day, Choi Eun-whan receives the Award of Friendship but does not attend the ceremony as she never woke up. A bouquet of white flowers sits in her seat instead, next to Jae-kyung's chair. He stays for a while and walks outside carrying the flowers. His grandfather's lawyer comes, congratulates him and tells him that the inheritance is now his.
Later, Jae-kyung builds a house with numerous windows in memory of Eun-whan. He states that after 50 first snows hit its windows, they will meet again.

If I Stay (2014)
Adam Wilde: Mia's boyfriend. He is very handsome, and loves music. He plays guitar and sings for his band "Shooting Star" .
Kim Schein: Mia's best friend. They are said to be very alike and are perceived as "dark and studious"—assumptions that often work to their advantage. Kim is sarcastic, and obedient to her emotional mother. She and Mia are inseparable, which is apparent by lengths she goes to get Adam in to the hospital to see Mia despite their never having liked each other, as is seen in countless flashbacks .
Teddy Hall: Mia's little brother. Mia is extremely fond of Teddy, saying he is like her own kid. Teddy admires Mia and the two are very close. Throughout the book, Mia worries the most about Teddy, as it is unclear at first whether he has died alongside his parents in the accident.
Kat Hall: Mia's mother who is "tough as nails, tender as kittens." She loves rock music and her family, of whom she is protective and fiercely loyal. She previously had issues with Mia's love for classical music, but accepts it as part of Mia's life. She is not the cook of the family.
Hollywood Romantic Comedy Movies
I'm not really a fan of Romance but I definitely enjoy watching Romantic Comedy movies. Here are some of the movies that I remember. I will really appreciate suggestions and recommendations.
